Originally from Indianapolis, Darrell Morton, Jr., DJ or simply DMJ is currently the morning voice on our bgiradio.com family of networks. DMJ joined BGI as a producer and created the popular BomShelter Hip Hop gospel show.  DMJ served as music director and on-air personality for WISU in Terre Haute, Indiana where he received honors as the stations newcomer of the year.  He then moved into television working for the ABC affiliate WRTV in Indianapolis. DMJ has also freelanced for ESPN, Fox sports, CBS sports and appeared in several independent films including “Soul of the Game” which was about the Negro baseball league.
